About Caring Transitions of East Denver

We help seniors and their families handle those later in life transitions. Whether that means downsizing to a smaller place, selling the valuable pieces in a home, or clearing a house to get it ready for what's next, we relieve that stress and help make the move as smooth as possible.

We're a locally owned senior transition company serving East Denver, and we're the one call a family makes instead of five. Downsizing, senior moves, estate sales, online auctions, and full home cleanouts, all under one roof.

We've helped nearly 70 East Denver families since opening in February 2025. Most of them found us the same way. Overwhelmed, unsure where to begin, and hoping they'd found people they could trust.

That trust is the whole job, and here's how we earn it. When you're ready to talk it through, you can schedule a free consultation anytime

Senior move management and estate services in East Denver

Most families come to us in the middle of something hard. A parent is moving to assisted living. A loved one has passed. A home of thirty or forty years has to be emptied, sold, and handed off, often on a tight timeline and from across the city or the country.

We take care of it from beginning to end:

  • Downsizing, sorting, and decluttering
  • Senior moves, including packing, moving, and setting up the new home
  • In-person estate sales and CT Bids online auctions
  • Full home cleanouts to get the property ready to list

You tell us how much you want us to handle, and we take care of the rest, so you can focus on this next step and phase for your family.

Why East Denver families trust us

When you're letting people into a parent's home to handle a lifetime of belongings, trust isn't a nice-to-have. It's everything. So we've built our team around it.

  • Every person we send into your home is background-checked and trained for the emotional side of this work, not just the lifting.
  • We carry liability insurance
  • We get it done when we say we're going to get it done, most projects in two days to two weeks
  • Whenever possible, pieces that don't sell are donated

A family doing this alone can spend months on it, all while carrying the taxes, the mortgage, and the emotional weight. We move faster than that, and we're steady when things feel anything but.

We're not the cheapest option in Denver, and we're honest about that. You get what you pay for, and what you're paying for is a professional team that treats a household of memories like it matters. Because it does.

So much of what's in a home is sacred to the family it came from, and we handle it that way.

Estate sales and CT Bids online auctions in Denver

Selling well is its own kind of expertise, and it's one of the biggest reasons families call us.

We run in-person estate sales, and we run online auctions through CT Bids, the national auction platform available only through Caring Transitions. A solo estate company simply can't offer it.

CT Bids puts your items in front of buyers across the country who bid against each other, which drives prices up instead of down. It's especially powerful for the anchor pieces that draw serious collectors, things like jewelry, coins, antiques, and unique art. We typically sell 95 percent or more of what we list.

The results speak for themselves:

  • A three-day estate sale of primitive antiques, farm tools, and a 1955 Jeep Willys brought in $24,000
  • One client's three storage units became three consecutive online auctions that together cleared more than $60,000

There's also a local challenge we solved. East Denver is dense and urban, full of high-rises, townhomes, and HOA communities where a traditional in-home estate sale isn't practical or isn't allowed.

So we operate a warehouse. We move items off-site, clear the home quickly, and still give every piece the full professional sale treatment.

Jennifer Williams East Denver Caring Transitions

Meet Jennifer Williams, our owner

Caring Transitions of East Denver is owned and operated by Jennifer Williams, a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist who renews that credential every year.

Jennifer came to this work after a career spent building things that matter. She earned a journalism degree from the University of Missouri, added a Certificate of Interior Architecture from UCLA Extension, and spent seven years as the founding Executive Director of the MBX Foundation.

The interior architecture training shapes how she reads a home for staging, space, and value. The nonprofit leadership shows up in how she runs every project.

She opened her first territory in Park Hill and Commerce City in February 2025, then expanded into the broader East Denver territory six months later.

As Jennifer puts it: "My goal is always to walk away from those meetings with them feeling like they've got an advocate, not just a solution, but a really compassionate solution, and people who can really come alongside them and help walk them through this in a really kind and helpful and really efficient way."

Recognized and referred across the Denver metro

The strongest endorsement in this business comes from the professionals who stake their own reputation on a referral.

Senior living communities including Balfour, Brookdale, Rosemark, Hilltop Reserve, Everleigh, and Overture 55+ send their residents and families to us directly.

Jennifer is a member of BNI Connect of Central Park, the Central Park Business Association, and the Cherry Creek Business Association, and she sponsors Dignified Dementia. She's been featured in the Front Porch newspaper and has presented to the Sages Community at Montview Presbyterian Church on downsizing and decluttering.

Caring Transitions has other locally owned locations across greater Denver and Colorado. When a family turns out to be in a neighboring territory, we connect them with the right local owner rather than compete, because what matters is that a Denver family ends up with the team closest to home. Founded in 2006, the national network now spans more than 375 locations, all owned by Certified Relocation and Transition Specialists.
